Randy Raper

Randy is a life long resident of the Bloomington/Normal area.  He attended Unit 5 schools and graduated from Normal Community High School in 1973.  While in school Randy was very active in sports including track&field and basketball.  It was being on the basketball team that taught Randy some of lifes important lessons such as setting goals and hard work is important to succeed.

Randy began building homes in 1975 and has been building homes ever since.  That's over 30 years of hands on building knowledge and expertise.

Randy is a past president of the Bloomington/Normal Home Builders Association and also held his real estate license for over 10 years.  In 1992 he went to Vladimir Russia to help build the first American home in Russia.  Randy has been on the Town of Normal Building Board of Appeals Committee and was a member of the ISU Curriculum Advisory Comittee.  Randy currently serves on the Wayne Zook Scholarship Selection Committee at ISU.

Randy feels that it is important to identify your goals in life.  Randy has defined his goals in life as family, dependability, commitment, and hard work.  All of which has gotten him to where he is today.  Randy also feels that it is important to step outside of the box and be willing to adapt to change and go one step further and create change.  These goals make Randy a great husband, father, mentor, and builder and these qualities and goals not only are represented in his personal life, but also in his business.

Scott Raper

Scott is also a life long resident of the Bloomington/Normal area.  He attended Unit 5 schools and graduated from Normal Community West High School in 1998.  While in high school Scott was very active in the music program including marching band, winter drumline, concert band, and symphonic band.  It was the experiences from being involved in these music organizations that taught Scot how important team work is and that dedication and hard work are important in all aspects of life.

Scott received his Associate in Art degree from Heartland Community College in 2002.  Most of his studies were in business including accounting, managment, law, administration, and marketing.  Scott was the Replacement Office Manager at Sears in Bloomington for several years and also was a product consultant for State Farm. 

Scott has been associated with Randy Raper Builder for over 5 years now and 3 years ago decided to get his real estate license.  He became a Realtor with Coldwell Banker HOA for a year and then moved his license to Prudential Snyder Real Estate where he is proudly still a Realtor with Prudential. 

Scott truly dedicates himself to his work and shows enthusiasm and excitement in everything he does.  His dedication and work ethics help him reach his goals in life and he continues to learn new things each and every day.  Every lesson learned is an asset to his business.  Scott is a risk taker and is not afraid to admit to mistakes, for it is these mistakes that make him a better person in both his personal and business life.
